Everyone wants to know whether we have hit bottom yet. Generally speaking, most of the Wellington-area market is at least near the bottom -- near enough so that waiting could mean missing out on some great opportunities.
The exception is the high-end second home and equestrian market where many sellers have chosen to price their properties way above market and appear willing to wait (perhaps years) for things to get better. But, even in this segment of the market there are a few great buys.
